Just listed in my etsy shop! This unique scarf is essentially a small version of the triangular shawl. It features a reversible picot eyelet mesh pattern. Yarn is comprised of cotton/linen/rayon. Perfect for the upcoming spring/summer seasons. May be worn as a neck or head scarf. Check it out!
I just finished this scarf. It is a custom order and will be my first sale on etsy. Although it is for my sister, it still counts. You got to start somewhere.
I just updated this listing in my etsy shop. The pictures my husband took didn't turn out very good. So I decided to take some myself today, and they came out pretty good. I also discovered that if you wear the headkerchief tied in front, it makes a pretty darn good ear warmer.
I made this awhile ago and submitted it to Knitty for their spring issue. Unfortunately, I just received an email from Amy Singer, Knitty's editor, and they decided not to use it. I am pretty bummed out right now. I knew there was a good chance that they wouldn't want to publish it, but I still had high hopes. Anyway, I wasn't able to post it just in case they decided to publish it. I guess maybe I'm not a good enough designer to be published yet, but I'm going to keep trying.
Please feel free to check out my designs and read about what inspires me to create them. If you would like to share tips, stories, advice, or would just like to comment on one of my designs, I would love to hear what you think.
I am a 33 year old stay at home mom and housewife. I love spending time with my husband and children and designing sweaters. I design other things too, but for some reason I love sweaters.
Patrick, Aidan, and I. I had to add a picture of the most important thing in my life - my family.
Little pink skirt
This is the first skirt that I have ever designed. I have a hard time knitting skirts from other peoples patterns becuase they always come out too big. So I designed my own and I used a cotton/elastic blend yarn for a perfect fit.
